We are a middle aged ( 1961/1962 ) couple who both come from Pula, the biggest town in Istria and became a couple when we were 13. As it sometimes happens we couldn't stay a couple for too long as Giorgio's parents moved to another part of Croatia. A couple of years later Jana had to do the same. We both carried with us our love for Istria and for our first love. In the meantime life happened to both of us. We worked, lived and travelled a lot in different parts of Croatia as well as Europe. Georgio was using a lot of German and Jana a lot of the English language.

It was a big decision but we knew that sharing good things like love for nature and the Istrian way of life and holidays in an unspoilt, calm and peaceful county with nice and open-hearted Istrian people in combination with our life and professional experience in tourism, services, buildings, languages and the kind of people we are – open, reliable, responsible and willing to help - must bring success to our company and satisfaction to us, our clients and associates. We did so and started our own company and continued everything that we had already been successfully doing for 'big companies', only this time under our own name and authority.
Doing so we've made even more friends among our own people as well as our clients from all over Europe and the world and people from outside Croatia who were running their companies here.
In 2009 we met an English couple Nigel and Sue who were running their own tourist agency in the charming little village of Glavani and who had, by that time, become established for the part of Istria they lived and worked in. They advised us about many things and details and helped us a lot. We've learned many things from them and that intensified our wish and efforts to become a recognisable, friendly and reliable company for organising memorable holidays in Istria and Croatia and to introduce Istria in particular and Croatia in general to people from all over the world.

Thanks to this contact G.S.O. will now have two addresses, the one in Pula and the other one in this picturesque village of Glavani ( in the area of Barban-Krnica ), some 20 km away from Pula. Apart from this activity, G.S.O. provides the service of maintaining, cleaning and taking care of properties whose owners do not live in Croatia. As well we offer and rent their property and are in charge of it when the owners are away. So, come and holiday with us. Let us show you our Istria and Croatia.
